Bothered...

I’ve been thinking about this lately. There is indeed a fine line between being honest and a**hole. Most of us live in the middle of somewhere, trying to find that unhealthy balance between what is true from bulls**t. Sometimes, concealing your convictions is a survival technique, which, ironically, slowly weakens and kills you inside. What would be more satisfying, a day of lame pranks or a day full of unfiltered truth? The truth hurts sometimes, but the potential for positive gains is enormous. It is always better to be honest. I would much rather have someone just tell me to my face that they hate me than to have them tell me that they like me and then go tell everyone else that they hate me, whether I found out about it or not. Seriously, even if it's hard to be honest, your friends will probably appreciate it. If they get mad at you, they will probably come around and stop being mad because at least you were honest with them. There is never an excuse for being dishonest with anyone for any reason. A REAL friend will tell them the truth no matter what. It doesn’t matter if its good or bad, you just have to be honest. Telling the truth to a friend even if it hurts should not be misinterpreted. What a friend would want is always for another's welfare. Don't be blinded or overwhelmed with a lover's blatant lies and trust on his version of truth. Normally, it is difficult to spot lies from what is true on that this situation...

Well, just take that anvils off your chest and live a wonderful life! … its not too late you know..!

for YOU!

Every one of us has something we want to hide from our society, something to hide from the people we meet everyday. Sometimes we even pretend to be someone we are not just to hide things we find to be embarrassing and please the people around us. We pretend to be okey. Some pretends to be rich just to be idolized for their money. Still, some pretend to be kind, happy, and some pretends to be healthy. Some pretends to be like a saint as if he/she’s so modest and reserved.

In this world, everyone wears their own masks. Even children can say they had a great time at school with a broad smile despite the fact that someone’s bullying them. A husband would say his meeting went well with a smile as he kiss his wife, even if not. A sick friend or relative would pretend that his okey, for his loved ones not to be worried until it turned to be obvious that his not when the illness he’s been hiding started claiming his health physically. A poor man who’d fall in love to a rich woman would wear fine clothes and pretend to be one. A coping new writer will tell stories of greatest writing achievements to impress freelancers in front of her, pretending to be among them.

We might not even notice it, but we all wear mask almost everyday, to cover our true selves from others, pretending to be what we are not. But is it right to wear mask even to your most concerned friends? Yes, all of us are wearing different kinds of masks based on the situation and people we are dealing with. And we all have reasons for that. But aren’t you getting tired? The mask used by clowns has to be taken off every night before they take a rest, so too does the personality mask, so take off that mask. Take a rest from pretending, it’s tiring. The world won’t hurt you friend…

Funny but true!

I really don’t know why I feel so affected. I can’t concentrate on what I’m into when I’m not in good terms with somebody most especially to the one who is close to my heart (funny but its true!). Gosh! Can I consider it as a positive attitude or a negative one? That’s why I don’t have any intentions of making myself close with somebody if I will just always get affected every time a conflict or should I say a very slight misunderstanding arises(actually, it was just a misinterpretation I guess). Whew!!! Hehehe….Anyway, its time to get back working… Concentrate…concentrate…concentrate… Everything is ok now yhen! Haiz…

Reminiscing the old times….A new found friend – Melai

When I was in elementary… I already love adventures! When our teacher asks if who’s willing to join girl scouting… I would instantaneously shout… “ako po mam”.. thinking that we will surely have a camping and mountain climbing. (yahooooo…). One of the funniest and stupid acts which I have done during our girl scouting in elementary is joining with boys…. Yeah…really! Hahahaha…Our teacher told us that girls are not allowed to join the camping that year since there is a limited number of girls who registered. (This was on the 6th grade)…Since it was our last year to join the camping… even with the prohibition of our teacher, me and six of my friends joined with the boys! Hilarious right?? wehehehe … And when our teacher found out… he talked with my friends parents and advised to bring us home (good thing… we live on a quite distant place where phone signal was not available then…hahaha) I was saved! . I know for a fact that papa will definitely be mad at me… so what I did was to have a sleep over on my friends place… hahaha… It was when I reached high school that I had the guts to reveal it to papa and with my siblings.

My desire for adventurous and thrilling activities has never subsided even as I reached high school. If there will be any activities that concerns, camping, mountain climbing, and even outreach programs, I always assure that I’m one of the participants. With this, I was able to go to different places here in the province and even outside... sad to say, when we are supposed to be sent in Mindoro I was not able to join…huhuhu, (it so happened that it was our final examination. And as a graduating student then, I should prioritize my academics. (waaaahhhhhh…) Anyway, the most unforgettable experience of my girl scouting during high school is when I was chosen to be one of the delegates representing Legazpi. It was a National Jamboree, and there were so many delegates. I happened to mingle with other delegates from Legazpi coming from different schools. It was indeed a worth remembering experience most especially our mountain trekking… Our guide was a hunk… kiliiigg!! Hahaha (aki pa sana duratooon na….nyahahaha)

Well, I remembered these things because of MELAI… when we were in high school, we know each other only by name and for a fact that we were in the same school and we were both active in girl scouting. I was a year older than her. We also talk but not that often. But now that we’re working in the same company, it is indeed a pleasure knowing her better. We share so many things most especially on heart matters. Hahaha… As our conversation starts, time runs so swiftly. Whew! We’ve got so many stories to tell. I’m really enjoying it. She seems to be more mature than I…. hehe
